U.S. President Trump was asked earlier outside the White House why he decided to institute a “90-Day Pause” on nearly all of the reciprocal tariffs announced last week, to which he responded, “Well I though that people were jumping a little bit out of line, they were getting yippy, you know, they were getting a little bit yippy - a little bit afraid.”
