I'm pretty impressed by nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct so far! Made it amazingly easy to get a Bitcoin node up and running quickly, and it runs on debian, my favorite OS. Next up is learning how to run a lightning node ⚑

I'm testing Tailscale as well, seems like a solid project, based on wireguard which I already use, but with much easier setup. Remote access is working so far, but exit node function is not working. I may have to install Tailscale within debian OS, rather than the container within Umbrel.

I'm also happy to see another software I use, Syncthing available! My Umbrel is already another node in my sync network, making my files available everywhere!

If you want to try running your own bitcoin node, give Umbrel a try. It doesn't need much hardware wise, I'm using an old i5 4th gen with 4GB RAM and it runs great!

#[1] is so lit and easy to use. Solid product.

And when you’re done syncing you install electrum (electrs) and connect Sparrow to itπŸ‘Œ

πŸ’― installed and waiting!

When lnd is done, Nostr Wallet Connect next πŸ€™

I will add it to my list of things to learn πŸ˜‚

On top of the list, right?

I'm already using Zeus for an Alby wallet, shouldn't be too difficult πŸ‘€
