I have an old Acer Aspire E 15. I want to use it to run a bitcoin node. Here are the Specs

Intel core i3-7100u

2.4 ghz

3 mb l3 cache

4 gb ddr4 memory

1000 GB hdd

Will it suffice?

1tb hd is to small I’d upgrade that 2-4x but other then that probably

Go for a larger SSD. 1tb is limiting, and HDD will be so slow. When I was syncing I regularly saw my SSD maxing out read and write.

I have an old Spectrum 128k+2. I want to run a bitcoin node too. Here are the specs:

Tape recorder

128kb ram

Z80 processor

3.5 MHz

Will it suffice?

Absolutely. The only thing I would consider is upgrade the HD to an SSD 2TB. You get a lot of benefit out of the SSD over a spinning drive. 1TB will be fine for, but 2TB will future proof you for a bit.
