Reading and writing to relays is NIP-01 level specs, not some fringe, obscure thing.

Can't you just do that and send him a PR?

yes i follow him i see what he's up to but he promised goddammit

and i will if he doesn't do it first, i just have to finish my priority task... 2 weeks time it has to be all polished ready for final assessment
