Hi my name is Nirry and I am a #twitter #ratelimit refugee. Aside from addressing the obvious censorship issues, I was sold on the idea of decentralized social media after seeing that my Nostr account is an asymmetric pub/priv key pair that works across all clients in the Nostr ecosystem. The only possible downside that I've seen so far is that your typos are forever immutable lmfao

Either way, I'm happy to be here and am eager to watch federated protocols take the spotlight amidst the recent Reddit and Twitter fiasco
