I got invited by a friend to go celebrate the Eid once in my youth. What a feast, what a vibe.

Kind of sad that the concept of Lent got lost in Christian culture. I am not a believer, but as a kid each day before Easter I would deprive myself of something that I really liked, lent light. Easter was always magical, spring, life, food and family gatherings (much more than Christmas)
