You see the firmament when you see sun dog reflections of the sun off the inside surface of the firmament and when you see the arc shape of rainbows which are also prismatic reflections off the curved inside surface of the firmament at different heights based on how close to the outer edge of the firmament from which they are viewed such as Canada, Australia, or Antarctica.
