What was one life advice no-one gave you as a child/teen and you had to discover it by yourself?

Pretty much everything .. I was a 70’s child 😂😂

No-one told me that absolutely everyone alive is a scammer in one or more area of their lives 🫠

People that flex possessions are more often financially poor than not and they are not rich by any standard.

I can't select just one:

1. Chances of meeting even a single genuinely good person throughout the entire life are virtually 0.

2. There is no magic in relationship between different genders, there are no genuinely happy couples anywhere in the world (possible, but chances close to 0), everything about it in books and movies is fake (100%).

3. Humans are no different from other animals, they should never be sick, not even with a running nose, unless they are put in elaborate extremely hazardous environments/conditions to make them sick. Medics are not needed for anything other than fixing broken bones.

Because of those misguidances I really wasted good part of my life chasing ghosts. It wasn't completely unfun, but each fun moment only lead to the next disappointment, so an unforgivable waste still.

Don't ever let yourself get fat. For real.
