Agree with the previous comment. The Devs and the people behind the social apps especially,have bias and agendas to use the algorithms to their advantage. In itself this is not really bad, but when nafarious actors manipulate or take advantage then it becomes a societal issue. Many people cannot control themselves, hence the propensity to allow Gooberments or an external authority to control them. IMO
