Niceta, Bishop of Remesiana, tirelessly preached the Gospel to the barbarian tribes beyond the Roman frontier in the 4th century. He converted many Goths and others to Christianity, teaching them hymns and the true faith. Legend says he authored the Te Deum, a hymn of praise to God still sung today. Let us pray that, like Niceta, we may boldly share our faith and bring others to Christ.
