but similar to how you can filter song and video links by sites
nostr.build, Imgur, postimges
follow up, are you able to filter by for example all (1)Tidal songs (global) vs all Tidal songs posted by (2)follows, (3)by follows follows, (4)by followers?

Searching for any domain or subdomain (mysite.com or sub.mysite.com) is already baked into NostrGram. It's just a matter of adding a filter item for the particular domains. What do you feel would be the benefit of filtering for specific image sites instead of just using the Media filter?
Regarding your question: The filters apply to all feeds except Notifications, so yes you can filter for Tidal songs on a profile or on your Following feed etc.
specific sites are about the existing communities that are already there
it adds another layer to make Tidal songs social, or allow Imgur images to get zaps
more trends will develop as people look for image/media hosting solutions for posting to nostr and being able to include and exclude using a site filter may be helpful down the road
