Most people have a high time preference and are afraid of the smallest dips. The news anchors panic if the S&P500 drops 1%.
This strategy doesn't even beat gold anymore, but the propoganda pushed this for 40 years.

It is utter lunacy these financial advisors even exist.
I've talked to a couple.
They don't like me because I do math and "show my work."
It’s so easy to pencil out that the idea is retarded yet they still do it. It’s guaranteed to give you worse returns. Something about humans doing provably irrational things that really agitates me. I’m not bothered by much, but things like this really get my goat. Maybe I’m actually the irrational one 😂.
I'm the same way, but try to let it go. Most people trust social proof, and bitcoiners have been outcasts until about a year ago.
They're still in disbelief and it's not like they advertize the bitcoin price on baseball games designed to sell beer.
