I like the idea of one day purchasing a 1kg gold bullion to sit on my bookshelf, as a conversation piece.

It would barely be visible on a bookshelf. 1kg of gold is about the size of a large smartphone🤷🏻‍♂️.

Gold bookends, big 12.5kg bullion ones, might actually hold books securely for once.
