Also, is the pool I ground or above ground? Do you know what kind of filter it has and does it have a salt chlorine generator?

All I know it's in ground. The water is tap and no salt as far as I know. I'm not sure about the filter (it's been running all day today) and not sure what kind of chemicals they usually put in it 🤷♀️
Ok, what you need to find out is what kind of filter you have and if you have a salt water generator which just means you have a device hooked to your filtration system that uses pool salt to generate chlorine. Are you planning to continue using a pool guy or do you want to take over maintenence and cleaning? It good to know at least some of these things even if you're paying someone.

But I'll see what I can find out about the filter as it would be nice to use the pool on the hot days. If it means we take on looking after the pool for a few weeks, then we will need to investigate what we have going on in the pool. Language could be a barrier 🇻🇳😅
