Replying to Darin

I like brick, but a house in the city, especially on a busy downtown corner…. that’s not for me.

I can see how some young people who are just starting their careers and are into the night life would like it.

The investor who bought it to flip will do well. Commercial property is cheap right now.

I get it, it's not real brick. it's fake, a facade. analogous to fiat.

True- but it’s fiat in the literal sense. Real stone/brick was used much more often to build houses when money was good and scarce. Now they have to fake value in art and architecture by leveraging debt to flip garbage and make more debt coupons
