The state, no matter where you’re at, is coercive and abusive to all subjects. They dictate. They steal. They violate the non-aggression principle literally from birth.

We all share these violations and we’re all taught it is necessary and “just the way it is.” We’re also taught that societies won’t work without the state - a feature of abusers (you’ll never make it without me).

It is important to point out to others these behavior’s are not normal. They aren’t okay. And they should not be tolerated or accepted.

The old saying in regard to abuse, “hurt people hurt people” is a lot more impactful when it’s understood the state perpetually abuses every single person born under its yoke.

Many of the pervasive issues in contemporary society stem from these abuses (imo) - addiction, mental illness, propensity to gamble, apathy, self-hatred, anger, criminality.

Understand, vocalize and opt out. Many on #Nostr are already on the right track. We’re going to seed these realities in others minds over time and it will catalyze ground-up changes.
