I loved Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary.

For those who want something entertaining with high doses of scientific facts, I recommend it.

Not very demanding position but it was fun to read. I remember it sucked me in pretty good.
If you are looking for more challenging SF I strongly recommend Diaspora by Greg Egan or Blindsight and Echopraxy by Peter Watts
