Costs for AI tooling have to come down drastically. Once they do, I don't think people realize the amount of job loss there will be at scale.

I am part of a G contract to modernize IT operations and the current AI solution providers charge absolutely ludicrous amounts for platform access and then nickel and dime you to death to build out intents, workflows, etc. The G ended up pulling the eject button, but if the tooling wasn't so expensive, we could have likely eliminated 50% of our support staff within a few years.
