It seems like the main selling point that #nostr has over every other social network is #censorship resistance. People often liken NOSTR to #Bitcoin in this way. But if images in #damus (or any client) are uploaded to https://nostr.build by default, then all a censor (such as China) needs to do is block that domain, and now all those images are broken. How is that censorship resistant? #asknostr

Self hosting doesn’t seem to solve the issue. The image is still stored at a single address, corresponding to a single (censorable) server.
Images in #nostr notes do not have any kind of #redundancy. This decreases #censorship resistance.

relatively, the problem is also censoring illegal images, there are two projects, we'll see if they succeed in their intent.
