Just got a Rockwell hardness test on a sample from the first production run of my Cyberita folding knives and it look very promising.
I was shooting for around 60 hrc and this one clocked in at 59.5. I find this to be close to perfect for the steel (14c28n) edge geometry and use cases of the knives.
It will keep an edge, resist chipping, and be pretty easy to sharpen. 14c28n is a very tough stainless steel that take a wicked edge.
