What socials did George use?
I feel he'd be a Snapchat kinda guy 😂
I do try to channel him, but he doesn't tell me shit.
The only poetry I have ever felt a connection to was by Siegfried Sassoon. Some of his WW1 stuff is extremely moving.
Yeah good stuff. There's gems of wisdom in our forefathers' words.
If uk starts talking about conscription again, I think I'll be youtube posting war poetry non stop.
Some of war poets articulate really well the brutality and how the war was pointless and stupid.
