Dear Nostr crew: what's the best and most handy blog-option for running a blog on nostr? Or just as a note? A good friend is trying to start a new blog as an anonymous witness to something, and we really want it to be nostr only and anonymous, manageable through a vpn and such. It's rather sensitive content.

Yes I think best is to just put it as a note on nostr. Maby put some good hashtags, which relate to the topic.
And maby rather do all related things via tor, if it is very sensitive. And I hope you are acting with good intention. 😘

Are they wanting it to be on the internet permanently? If they use nostr, the notes can be deleted in the future by the various relays... Unless they self host no guarantee that their notes will always be there.
As far as using nostr, I would just create a new profile in the name of the blog they want and only post blog stuff.
Only guarantee that the content will be permanent would be to self host it on WordPress with their own domain. You can purchase a domain privately
