Why does everything need to be rewritten in rust? Not a coder, just curious, noticing a trend

oh it doesn't need to. it's totally selfish. I did C in college and haven't touched it since. I write rust everyday. so id be able to contribute to that project more if it was written in a language I'm more familiar with.

I've actually tried learning Rust several times. I always get a little past hello world and then forget about it

We’re about to do that over a course of months. We got multiple devs working on that whenever they do have time and are willing to work on that. So don’t expect this any time soon
