I don't know who needs to hear this, but a 401k is not a plan for retirement.

At best it's insurance against being unexpectedly laid off.

Genuine question. What do you do with it? I’ve spent a fair amount of time contemplating this to no avail.

I still have a 401k balance from before I began allocating 100% of my savings into Bitcoin.

In the event I'm laid off I will cash it out and use it as runway for getting a new job so that I don't have to sell any sats.
