I can't quite articulate why I feel the need to zap.

Like why not just participate without giving money?

Is it because I think this supports the network, because of some human instinct to reciprocate?

or because zaps are public, to not be perceived as cheap or a moocher? Maybe even to be seen as a "big tipper"

What is the psychology around this because it seems counter intuitive
