Sat down to work on some production last night and got into a flow state for at least 3hours.

Tweaking a hi hat, modifying a baseline EQ’ing drums. adjusting melodies etc all while becoming connected to a piece of music that is still building and evolving.

It’s easily one of my favourite parts of the creative process.

Then there’s the best part…thinking you’ve got one, leaving it for the night then waking up ,listening with fresh ears and it’s sounding even better that you remembered 🔥

I say that’s the best part because it’s rare (for me at least). Maybe 8/10 when you think you’ve got one - listening back with fresh ears will let you know that you don’t 😂
