I always wonder how many will regret them all in 20 or 30 years when they are all faded, blurred and saggy
Same. I think it's a kind of personal differentiation, but without value. Or maybe something that was provably hard to get (pain) in a world where too much is provided for free.

That's subjective. I never understood the value proposition of painting body skin, but to each their own.
