Through fucking SEPTEMBER???

To be fair, they were already mostly redundant and useless anyway so its just business as usual for a bit longer lmao

they sould not be paid by tax payers if they're not producing/contributing to society? looks like parasitic to me ... what a clown world ... I ended up in the wrong simulation, damn!

Many of these likely haven’t contributed anything in years, if ever, anyway. Cut the dead weight!

It's a good start, but only about 1% of the federal workforce.

"The federal workforce's normal attrition rate is about 6% a year, meaning some of those who've taken the buyout may have been planning to leave government service anyway."

Curious what the next step is. Sweeten the deal, bigger carrot to make them more happy to leave and never come back (the Yarvin route), or the stick.

I'd take it easily. It's not like air traffic controllers aren't going go get their job back after September.

That's just a 6 month paid vacation for them.

Yeah then when they are all gone we can privatize those services to companies, already lined up, using AI in most cases, to take more taxpayer dollar.
