The US central bank, Federal Reserve (FED), yesterday introduced a programme to monitor new types of activities related to cryptocurrencies and the corresponding technology. This affects all banking institutions supervised by the Federal Reserve, as well as indirectly some companies in the industry.

Die US-Notenbank, Federal Reserve (FED), hat gestern ein Programm zur Überwachung neuartiger Aktivitäten im Zusammenhang mit Kryptowährungen und der entsprechenden Technologie eingeführt. Dies betrifft alle von der Federal Reserve beaufsichtigten Bankinstitute sowie indirekt auch einige Unternehmen aus der Branche.
