Small stuff is easy to spot and rage over. Big stuff is super hard to realize and understand as relative changes are usually tiny and slip by. It's like trying to see 1% improvement every day that is nothing compared to yesterday but YoY% adds to a lot 1.01^365 -> ~37x.
Low time preference life,
Fuelled by poison fiat foods,
They don’t have a chance 😒

I’ve thought about this before and I think the repressed rage of the common man just comes out over the trivial things. Most people have beaten down and abused so badly by all manners of hierarchy but know they can’t rage against income taxes or unending and soul-crushing regulation with any effect. Instead, snapping on a peer for something trivial is primed and it’s an attack on entity that can have an effect.
It is both sad and true
Oh my. That might hit too close to home!
I never really get upset about the small stuff, but post pandemic I realized
I spend 3hrs per day on a bus just like I am now! ( 1.5 in the am and 1.5 in the pm) 5 day a week…
3*5*50= 750 hours per year
You can’t have time back!
That is 50 days (assuming you are awake 15 hr per day)
Planning my escape!
Best of luck! 🙏🏻
It's not impossible
The slow driver in front of you is just more obvious and tangible than the real problem of regulations not allowing us to have flying cars. The slow driver in front of you is just easier to reach than the untouchable fat cats. It's just the way the government likes it, divide and conquer. They purposely squish us together so that we'll fight each other instead of our actual oppressors.
Sometimes i have the feeling that many other people don't have dreams beside to do what other people do, like monkeys or something. Such a person seems natural to be a whiny cunt for small things.
Everyone is a little crazy in their own good way.
i first noticed this when i realized most dog and cat owners are very concerned that their pet gets all their vitamins and nutrients and goes for a walk etc - but have no such concern for themselves
because they can think about their pet getting sick and dying but they can't think the same about themselves
