There are literally thousands of users on X who would love #Nostr if they experienced it, but they've either not heard of it, or they have the wrong idea about it.

Nostr is confusing, quiet, the apps are buggy.
It’s still in its nascent stage.
Needs more building.
Needs more using!

But the users won’t come unless it’s cleaner and global is hidden forever.
We need to find users easier, need to sort by topics easier, and we need solid influencers that aren’t what tik tok is.
Global is ugly without good spam filtering. Some clients don't even offer global. Should be available IMO but never the default feed and needs some spam filtering. The global feed on Amethyst isn't terrible.
All clients need to have something like the recommended people to follow on nostr.band
If it's quiet you should follow more people. When I'm on this shit all day at work my feed flows pretty nicely.
Another problem, I follow like 1500 people.
But my relays reset or something else happened and I was knocked down to 750 or something like that.
Not all the people you follow are active either. Same for me. There's only about 9-10k daily active users right now.
