I am convinced the number one reason people reject Bitcoin is they do not understand central banking and the poison that modern money systems are.

Probably, but while some of us may have some, it is of limited use if most won't take it in exchange where you are yet.
It will be a whole lot more useful when IGA starts accepting it as they had stated they were planning to, I haven't heard anything since it was first mentioned mid way through 2019.
Agreed. I've thought the banking system was unfair simce 1995. Bitcoin seemed like the best alternative when I learned about it in 2014.
It drives me crazy to see so many Americans blame capatalism for thier plight when our monetary system is best described by the communist manifesto.
"Centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly."
Agreed. People need to put in some research to understand what Bitcoin is. They don’t want research, they want to be programmed. They live in the fairy tale land where their politician/new caster tells them the truth.
Yep
At least for me, the foundational book was "the creature from Jekyll Island". Whenever I "forget" the root, the gradual understanding I got from the time I put in to that book came back to remind me.
But then again, I do know people who read it and was like "nah, it's true but also not true".
Funny I was listening to G Edward Griffin on Thomas Breedlove podcast and he was talking about money and how it had to have utility outside of money... Then he said he liked bitcoin and "owns some" lol.
I just had a talk with my conservative friend. He has a degree in finances, worked in bank tresor for years. He's convinced Bitcoin is bigger scam and it's past it's prime already. He thinks nothing good about fiat either, but out of two devils he chooses the one he knows.
