Does anyone else see the irony of having a department of government efficiency that has two people getting paid to do the job of one person to run the department?

I didn't, but I do now.

Excellent point🫡.

How do we know that only one person can do the job of heading it? I think it remains to be seen what leading the department will require and whether both will focus on different aspects of running it.

Perhaps in eight months or so we can look back on this and say "yeah, that HAS proven to be ironic and funny", but if they are approaching things in an entrepreneurial way, it might be more like CEO and CFO deliniation of roles. Time will tell.
