A government account, directly affiliated with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has now been created on 𝕏. The account, named “DOGE DOD,” has been made as both Elon Musk and U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth have made statements outlining their compliance with U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s executive orders on minimizing waste, fraud, and abuse. While a number of goals have been mentioned in relation to DOGE’s expected focus on the Department of Defense (DOD), it still remains to be seen how and when we’ll see movement from DOGE in relation to the DOD.
