Honestly, most people I know who are orange pill curious are terrified of self custody. From my experience talking with them, Fedis are where it's at.

Actually, "nooooo, let's take risks on the core protocol, because everyone has to be self sovereign" might be better.
Because it insinuates that everyone has to be self sovereign, even if they don't want to be. Which takes away choice.
