Nostr is the greatest thing to happen for bitcoin adoption, so it’s very strange not to see every single bitcoiner not be in this space, absolutely raving and building ferociously.

Being on nostr now is like owning Bitcoin back in 2009 when nobody wanted it. We're very early and few understand what's happening here.... 😉

They can't just buy some and do nothing and wake up rich 10 years from now
I get what you’re saying but do you think that most people who bought 10 years ago didn’t sell when it 10x’ed?
People can hardly hodl now when we go down 20%.
With that said, a lot of “Bitcoin Twitter” are just LARPers.
you can still buy bitcoin now and hodl it for 10 years and I wasn't talking about money or capital gain :)

It's OK. We've only seen 1% of what nostr can do. The other 99% is permissionless everything. Everyone will find something that they like.
They say that it's because they want to reach normies, that precoiners aren't here yet. That the interface isn't good enough.
It's because they're addicted to the bird app & the cheap dopamine hits.
My message is, stop trying to convince people to get in the life raft. Get in the life raft & start rowing, they will find you & follow you.
Bitcoin & now nostr are life rafts. Ways to separate yourself from the matrix of control & find a better destination.
To each their own though.

I don’t think nostr is happening to bitcoin. It’s happening to us just like bitcoin does. On many levels, it is s bitcoin equal but meant to achieve different things. I am sort of waiting for “the third great thing” but we might yet to wait a bit
