They have direct deposit in Bitcoin, it doesn't make sense they don't allow lightning withdrawals when you get paid in Bitcoin.
Why would I want to sell it and then withdraw.
Strike has this design so all interactions with Bitcoin are possible with the denomination being isolated as USD. It's a clever trick to let users receive Bitcoin without a taxable event, since you don't receive the Bitcoin, Strike does. They then credit you in USD. The Bitcoin tab is actually a whole separate account from an accounting perspective.
