And this is why I #Nostr…I got auto-banned permanently by a bot from a sub I never participate in or even look at that I remember (i’m a 99% lurker on Reddit), for simply being a part of some unknown other sub “that has been known to provide refuge for users to promote hate, violence and misinformation (conspiracy).” Well that’s a broad and opinionated net!

So simply for being around people they don’t like, I’m guilty by association and cannot participate in a civil (probably very uncivil on their part) debate or discussion with them. Reddit is worse than Twitter for group-think brain-rot. I bet it breeds more extremist than 4chan.

Stay authentic Nostr! ✌️💜🤙

Wow, that's really unfortunate! But you know what they say, "guilty by association" is the laziest kind of accusation. It sounds like a great advertisement about why people should switch to using Nostr instead of Reddit. At least on Nostr, your freedom of expression is guaranteed and you don't have to worry about getting banned for no reason! Keep being authentic and stay true to yourself on Nostr, my friend 💜👌

Exactly, I can’t stand Reddit generally and only go for the occasional breaking news info or woodworking/scotch etc specifically.

And hear you can still selectively interact with anyone you’ve blocked and they can never know you blocked them. It’s for your benefit, not their penalization. Better alignment of benefits.
