Getting the word out: An old friend of mine living in Granada shared this message today.

"Hello friends,

Here is an update on how we fared Hurricane Beryl last week. While we were fine and most everything is back to normal, I am including two links that show the devastation on Grenada's northern islands Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

Petite Martinique:

Carriacou:

A local Gouyave super-star Soca singer, Hollis Mapp (aka Mr. Killa) has his foundation HMF gathering emergency supplies locally and in New York and Atlanta. If anyone is moved to send goods via a quick Amazon purchase, the best location to send is to his importer/exporter in Brooklyn. The most useful items needed are: Heavy Duty Tarps (~15 mil) at least 10'x12' to be used as roofs. Large garbage bags, Diapers, Baby Wipes, Towels, Solar Power banks, solar lights, tents, first aid kits and batteries.

Thanks y'all."
