#[0]β did I understand correctly that badges.page uses my existing relay list when publishing? If so, would having the Umbrel relay which uses ws:// instead of wss:// have caused the issues I was having yesterday? I removed that relay last night and then tried publishing again. The website still hung when I hit submit, but the badges actually started showing under the created tab when I refreshed the page, whereas before they never showed at all.
Discussion
Iβve had issues adding that relay to other web clients, so wondering if itβs potentially a problem here.
I donβt think you can even add a ws:// into badges
So if that relay is in my list, is the badges.page trying to use it when I publish, and could that be causing the issue I was havinh? Thats what Iβm wondering
π€ donβt know. I tried entering ws:// it gives me a βmust be a websocket urlβ error
Iβm able to enter in Damus but not on any web clients. So Iβm wondering if badges.page is pulling it from somewhere and trying to use it when I publish
It is still very buggy, badges that got accepted disappearing and needed to be accepted again.
Yep using default relay list, will look into improving relay selection when publishing, need to only publish to relays that support nip 33
