Nobody wants to hear it but it’s entirely possible that we are moving to a place where the majority of Americans would simply prefer a theocratic oligarchy run as a autocratic regime. Maybe they weren’t that crazy about democracy to begin with.

If you believe in majority rules, that’s hard to resolve.

The only way to combat that is to convince more people that freedom is valuable. It’s not the gimme you might think.
