Well you are playing mostly copywrite music on The L Word, sept 19th episode. So right off the bat its not a v4v music show. There's no Chapters or ways to support the music artists if you decide to actually put them in the Index. Sorry but I'm very skeptical in what I see.

So it's not for you, that's cool.

If you check the track listings over time, one you'll find I play a lot of music I have written/produced/engineered on, or music by people who are my IRL friends, so that's what I'm coming with, along the stories behind those, which is a pretty unique perspective you won't find elsewhere, there's exclusives and works in progress, I'm in house engineer for a very long established INDIE label. I play loads of music I LOVE and that's the whole point. I bought my first record over 40 years ago, I'll play that and everything else I've bought over the years. This isn't some splice dub outfit lol. At the same time, I look forward to having to tools available to me to collab directly with artists, work on splits and do a whole heap of other cool stuff. THAT'S THE POINT.

This is new to me, I appreciate some people are years/decades deep in this and that's appreciated. Things will happen and I'll be me, that's the USP. Now say I only chose to play tracks on Wavlake (or Nostr, RSS, whatever) 1, I wouldn't have the same passion for the music, nor the stories behind the making of some of the records played being made. This is not because there isn't great music on the platform, I haven't but I haven't had a lifetime to absorb as much of that music.

I fell in love with SOOOOOOO much music back in the day thanks to pirate radio and this is my tribute to that world. Everything is opt in, no one's being coerced into something they're not into. I'm one bloke in his shed trying to earn a little extra while working in a perilous industry, if people find value in what I do, they can express that. If they don't, cool.

I understand for a lot of people V4V is a very specific thing but by the nature of something being a decentralized, people are gonna pick up things and do their own thing. Unless V4V is under copyright, if so then I sincerely apologies to the copyright owners...

If that fails someone's purity test, that's ok but if you think I'm a bad person, wait until you hear about Benjamin Netanyahu....

Have a nice day 🎷
