It was growing in a 15' tall green house, up to the peak. I had to prune it heavily every year. Last weekend, I cut it back to about 7' and transplanted it outside. I can send you 2-3' tall shoots off the root. You'd have to root them yourself.

Wow. Moving that must have been hard! After doing more research just the shoots without roots have very low/almost non existant success rate. One option brought up by AI was to select one or two of the healthiest shoots, cut off the rest, mound potting soil or other healthy soil around the shoots to encourage root growth, then after a season or two cut off shoots below roots. You could graft a different apple onto those shoots and have two trees close together. I'll have to pass but thank you for offering!
