GM ☕️ Yesterday the DC Court said “yes the #tiktokban violates free speech BUT it’s not unconstitutional bc National Security trumps first amendment”. So the ban is set to go forward as of Jan 19. There is a special provision that would allow Biden to delay the ban, but I highly doubt he’ll use it especially now that the election is over. That being said, I would laugh SO LOUD if Truth Social strikes a deal with ByteDance and prevents the ban that way. I’m not making a moral argument for this outcome, but it is certainly a possible outcome… and certainly one that would make me laugh on a troll level. I’m a menace. 😈
