No doubt about that and I have my concerns, and surly they're trying and had to buy in to try but thinking, despite all the supposed adoption and price stagnation. it needs play out more.

the protocol is the protocol and btc can "empower" anybody, incl the elites. my point is that these elites are cutthroat and play dirty and the idea of just sitting back and letting them do whatever they want regulation-wise or taking control of on-off ramps, or key industries that underly btc etc. bc "the protocol" is not that different than "trust the plan". if most bitcoiners really cared abt challenging wall street and fiat, they would be looking to invert the elites' plans for digital assets and money but instead many seem to be cheering it on
