The Portal

Sometimes, random cracks in reality open the door to another realm full of magical things, taking the hero on an adventure that lasts for a lifetime. Exploring new worlds and bringin back to his home-world all the knowledge and treasure collected along the way.

English was that portal for me. It allowed me, a scrawny little boy from an unimportant place to reach beyong my potential and create the dream life that I now have.

I want to permanently open that portal and give the adventurers in my hometown the oportunity that was given to me by chance. I want to fund an English language academy and subsideze it to a point where it is feasible for the population to use it.

It sounds weird to the 1st world, but a few dollars do make a huge difference on the 3rd world. I will strive to provide freedom to those who seek it and are willing to leave their current lives behind.
