LATAM has been a treat so far. We just got to Columbia yesterday so the southern travels have just begun.

El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua, were eclectic countries with vintage colonial cities built amongst volcanoes; in parts, ravaged over time, yet still exuding charm, vibrancy, colour and a race of people brimming with a zest for life.

It’s hot as heck, being so close to the equator, but that adds extra fire, making El Zonte and the sapphire west coast of Popoyo all the more refreshing!

From the antiquated cities of Leon and the gorgeously, restored bustle of San Salvador Antigua and Granada, it’s a visual overload in real life. 🇸🇻🇬🇹🇳🇮

There are two types of ppl in the world - those who take vacations and those who travel! The later takes time, effort and commitment to forgo creature comforts.

When on the road fresh sheets and a good pillow are a luxury not a necessity (but it’s the best investment money can buy) because you bank memories.

Doing it with my family decades after doing it kid free … priceless!
