The streets of Argentina have exploded into a state of outright war after far right president Milei closed Congress following a failure to get enough support for his latest wave of deadly austerity cuts in an attempt to get a new loan from the IMF.

Pensioners had initially planned to take to the streets to oppose cuts to pensions but were soon brutally attacked by state thugs, causing football ultras and progressive youth to join the fight in defence of the elderly, as well as being joined by spontaneous opposition against the dictatorial maneuverings of Milei.

A journalist has sustained a severe injury to the head after being shot at by state thugs and was taken to hospital whilst, several other elderly pensioners required emergency assistance after being beaten by police. In the streets and in Congress, the façade of capitalist 'freedom' is being exposed in Argentina. #CapitalisticRefuge

Down with the savage barbarism of Milei and his billionaire puppeteers!
