Also do this with a throwaway nsec first.

What is the reason for this?

Be very careful where you stick your nsec.

Kinky

You should use protection, such as Amber. 😉

I had a look at Amber a while back, I'll check it out again 👍🏻

You know what I had downloaded the wrong app and wondered by it wasn't a nostr signer 😆 These days I try to install from the repository via obtanium

When I called out Fountain for requiring an nsec, a whole shitload of shitbags materialized to tell me it'd fine. Retards.

It's there any way to store it easily like a seed phrase?

Where did you stick it? And what were the consequences?

I stuck it into Amber to protect it. 🤙

Is there a version of this for iOS?

If you value your main account, trying every app could put your private key at risk. All it takes is one poorly designed app. So, stick to the main, well-tested apps with your main account and try the others with a throwaway for now.

That makes sense, I've only used Primal so far and checked out Wavelake briefly. I'll have a look around to see the differences, Thanks!
