Have used on-chain BTC for few years but the Lightning experience is truly in a league of it's own. Microtransactions clearly feel like the way forward.
Honestly, if you want the next injection of Bitcoin + Lightning Awesomeness... setup your own node and remove all third parties from the equation. Then you'll know what Satoshi envisioned (I'm guessing on some level).
I also highly recommend this site among MANY others for microtransactions and to see further use-cases for Lightning!
